I would like to ask you to spend some time in prayer for my mother and for my family as a whole as we're going through a challenging time once again. The last CT scan from last week showed signs of new tumour growth in my mom's lungs. This is discouraging since the treatment that my mom had been seemed to be working quite effectively up to this point. In terms of making changes to the treatment, the doctor suggested performing another scan in 2 months to monitor the progress, and making a decision based on that scan. Please pray for wisdom in making these decisions.
Unlike what we originally thought, there is still one more treatment in Canada that we can turn to, so we are not yet out out of options, but even so, my whole family and especially my dad is quite worried and concerned. Please continue to pray for my mom, my dad and for my family.
My parents and grandmother also canceled the trip to Calgary earlier this month because of abdominal pains that my mom was experiencing one week before they were supposed to leave. Even though the pains lessened within 24 hours, my parents were still not confortable going on a trip without knowing the cause of the pain, but insisted that Karen and myself go along with our church friends as planned.
With Karen away in Lindsay at her job and myself busy with a full- time job, things can get pretty stressful and strained at home, so please do keep us in your prayers. All of your care and concern have been such a great support... thank you all!
