It's a busy holiday season already... lots to do and people to see. I hope you'll all take the time to reflect on what is important and focus on the priorities and meaning of life.
My parents went to the doctors to discuss my mom's latest CT scan, and to get an update on how the treatment is going. Unfortunately, they have determined that the treatment plan has not been effective in reducing the cancer, and as a result, they have stopped the treatments.
My mom will be going on two month break from treatments, after which they will determine the next plan of action.
Basically, all this means that one of the last remaining options for treating my mom's cancer has not worked, so they don't want to continue weakening her body with the medicine. It's not good news, because there aren't many options left. Already she was on drug trials and the last few options.
Guys-- I don't know what to say. Please pray for my family, especially for my dad, and for my mom to be fully healed by our God. I know God's power exceeds anything we have here on earth, let's join together and ask Him to release that power upon my dear mom. Thank you all for your love and support, it has been a continual source of joy and encouragement.
