Hello all, Some new things to report on my mom and family, and some things that I'd like to ask you all to pray for.

An update on KAREN: The good news is that Karen is back home from Lindsay! :) She was able to find a job in Scarborough General Hospital and now we're all enjoying having her back home. Please prayfor both of us to re-adjust to at-home living and to have an extra measure of patience and grace for our family.

An update on my MOM: My mom is currently going through chemotherapy treatments in attempts to control the growth of the cancer in herlungs. This was the recommended treatment after the previous treatment started to show decreased effectiveness. We praise God thatwe have this chemotherapy option to turn to, however, I think thereare still uncertainties about how well it has been working. My mom is often short of breath and experiences irritation in her throat, causing her to cough, which makes her daily activities more uncomfortable. This has been hard for my family as well, since up to this point, she has been to live outher life in much the same ways as before. In addition, she has lost a lot of weight while on her special diet, and although she has relaxed her diet somewhat (eating moderate amounts of meat), she is not regaining the weight as she should be. The good news is that parents are planning to go on a bit of agetaway this week! It is my mom's rest week from her treatments so they are taking a couple days to relax and spend time together. Please pray for them-- that they would have a relaxing and rejuvenating time together, and that they would have good weather inthe next couple days so they can enjoy some nice walks outside.

An update on my GRANDMA: Also, my grandmother will be going in for aminor surgical procedure for her nasal passages next week. It's a pretty basic procedure (she'll be back home the same day) but there are always dangers of infections and complications, so please keep her in your prayers.

I am so thankful for each of you and your continued love and support... thank you for your concern and every expression of care for my family. Keep praying! :D
